That's right...I flashed my saddle on New Year's Day. And the day after that, and half of the day after that. Well, technically, I flashed my chimey cricket. But before you get the wrong idea, let me just tell you what I really mean. A cricket prevents water and snow from collecting behind a chimney. Two plywood triangles are cut and built in a mini-roof peak form. The cricket is then covered with a custom-bent saddle...

Well...I have to say things have been so busy for me. Nothing major...just life. But...back to the subject at hand. What's bein' tore up? What did that terrible 2-year-old break now? I do! After 8 months of eBay-ing, web-research, web-shopping, selling off stuff, and other things, I finally got my guitar gear together. What took so long you may ask? Well, I shopped for just about every part individually and put it together myself. Yep...I learned to solder, read up on basic electronics, guitar setups and anything else I could get my hands on. Just a quick tidbit of news...I drove a University van to a school-sponsored event last Friday and got to see my first hockey game in over a year (thanks to the damn lockout). Forgot how much fun it was. We watched the Carolina Hurricanes versus the Stars, and were treated to a 6-5 OT shootout victory by the Stars! Talk about your money's worth...got to see a 4-4 tie at the end of regulation plus the first-ever shootout at American Airlines...
